Currently, PenLog requires internet connection. Offline mode is on our roadmap for late 2026. Most shipyards have WiFi, but we understand connectivity can be spotty in some areas.
PenLog generates documentation that meets SOLAS Chapter II-2 requirements for bulkhead penetrations. Classification Society surveyors (Lloyd's Register, DNV, ABS, etc.) verify compliance during drydock based on the completeness and accuracy of your records - not which tool you used to create them. Our exports include all standard information required: pen location, contractor, opening/closing dates, photos, and verification status. We recommend showing your surveyor a sample export before the drydock to confirm it meets their specific preferences.
